Marintec China 2009, the definitive Asian marine trade show, has provided new strategic contacts for leading marine distress signals company Chemring Marine.
Chemring Marine sales director Justine Heeley attended the show along with Ramli Yusoff, the division manager of Pains Wessex distributor WH Brennan of Singapore and Zou Min, sales manager of WH Brennan, Shanghai, to meet delegates and talk about Pains Wessex products and new business opportunities.
“It has been a busy show for Pains Wessex and we have established promising new contacts both from the Chinese market and international visitors,” says Heeley. An extensive range of Pains Wessex products were included on WH Brennan’s stand at the show in Shanghai in December.
Marintec’s 30th anniversary show attracted more than 1,200 exhibitors and almost 43,000 visitors from around the world, up 20% on the last show in 2007. China’s shipbuilding industry is now the largest in the world and provides plenty of opportunities for Pains Wessex to increase business.
