The world’s leading marine distress signal company Chemring Marine has visited the Sinaval trade show in Bilbao to support its Spanish distributor.

Chemring Marine is the world’s leading supplier of SOLAS, MED and USCG-approved marine distress signals to commercial and leisure marine markets through its Comet brand.

Managing director Justine Heeley attended April’s three-day international shipping, maritime, port and fishing industry fair in support of Comet distributor Gandara that was exhibiting.

Justine says, “There was a great deal of interest shown in Comet’s best-selling range of safety products, which are well-known for their reliability and technological superiority.”

Justine also met with Gandara to discuss the Spanish market and the regulations surrounding disposal of expired pyrotechnics.

Sinaval attracted an international audience from the maritime, naval, fishing and the port management and services sectors.

Available through over 200 distributors in more than 80 countries, Chemring Marine’s comprehensive range of products has been helping to save lives for more than 100 years and is specified by the world’s navies, merchant fleets, fishing vessels, rescue services, airlines and leisure craft.
