This year’s Maritime Fair focuses on Recruitment and Sustainability, bringing together more than 50 exhibitors, including several manufacturers and the majority of Finnish shipping companies. Maritime students have an excellent opportunity to network with industry professionals and explore career opportunities with potential future employers at the fair.
Engage with industry leaders
Gain valuable insights at the conference, featuring a panel discussion on the Finnish maritime sector’s readiness for the IMO’s greenhouse gas reduction strategy. Hear presentations from experts on exciting topics, like career development. There will also be a demonstration on how e-navigation solutions and digital platforms can enhance daily operations onboard and onshore. Visitors can also attend guided tours of Aboa Mare’s simulator department and experience the latest in maritime simulation, such as the simulator bridge for icon of the seas, the world’s largest cruise ship.
Mercy ships- supporting life-changing work
Engage with Mercy Ships Sweden national director Stefan Sonesson on Thursday 24 October at the conference, as he shares insights into their mission aboard the world’s largest civilian hospital ship. Hear about how you can help save lives by contributing your talents to mercy ships in Sierra Leone, Madagascar, and beyond.
We are proud to announce that 10% of every booking for the maritime fair will be donated to Mercy Ships, an organisation dedicated to providing life-saving surgeries and medical care in countries with limited access to healthcare.
