Waste heat recovery specialist Green’s has doubled its turnover in the past year with over half of its business now coming from overseas. To support this expansion, new roles have been created that will improve Green’s project management, manufacturing efficiency, and aftersales services.
David Connolly has joined Green’s contract management team, having previously worked in similar roles for other well-established manufacturers, including Weir Group and Woodcock and Wilson.
Garry Pagett has been appointed as a workshop supervisor in Green’s factory and brings with him significant experience of metal fabrication and welding. Pagett was formerly at One Subsea, part of the Schlumberger group, where he worked for 11 years as a team leader and chargehand looking after a large team of welders. Prior to that, he worked for 17 years at Clayton’s as a welding inspector and technician working on pressure vessels, pipework, and structural steelwork.
As a result of the amount of work Green’s is securing in installations and repairs, Eddie McKenna has joined Green’s rapidly growing aftermarket team. He is a marine and mechanical engineer and has just spent three years working for Harris Pye as a repairs/project manager based in Dubai. Eddie is a member of the Institution of Mechanical Engineers (IMechE).
To boost Green’s burgeoning spares supply division, Courteney Pyne has been recruited as the newest member of the spares sales team.
