Economiser and waste heat recovery systems specialist Green’s has achieved American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) certification for the design, fabrication, assembly, and inspection of boiler and pressure vessel components. This certification is recognised by customers around the world as the key method of assessing the quality of suppliers’ processes and product manufacturing.

Green’s managing director Matthew Crewe says: "The quality of our manufacturing and repair services has always been vital to Green’s since the company was established in 1821. We already work to all the appropriate ISO standards as well as EN and PED certification. Now with ASME Certification we are fully qualified to supply our bespoke solutions to the US, Canada, Middle East, China, South America and Australia, which we expect to help the business grow significantly."

Green’s has been awarded the ASME ‘S’ and ‘U’ Stamps for the workshop construction and field assembly of power boilers, external piping, pressure vessels and parts in accordance with Section I and Section VIII Division 1 of the ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code (BPVC) and B31.1 of the ASME Pressure Piping Code.

In addition, Green’s has also been awarded the ‘R’ Stamp by the National Board Inspection Code (NBIC) for workshop and field repairs.
