Marine Fenders International’s engineered and manufactured our Ocean Guard Donut fenders for the New SeaLink ferry terminal located in Auckland, New Zealand.
This ferry terminal will support the upcoming 36th America’s Cup in March 2021. These Marine Fenders International Ocean Guard donut fenders consist of 14 pieces of Donut Fender 12 each 6.6ft diameter x 11ft flat length and two each 9ft diameter x 5.5ft flat length. The 9ft diameter fenders were outfitted with external netting of reinforced plastic lumber and heavy-duty chains. This netting is designed to absorb and transmit the heavy impacts of the berthing ferry.
Additionally, each of these Ocean Guard donut fenders are equipped with independent mooring crown which provides all-tide mooring capabilities.
