ORTS is to deliver 16 electro-hydraulic grabs, the EHS-B 12m³, for a German shipping company and their four new buildings.
A part of the grabs and necessary crane equipment is already delivered; the order will be completed in the second quarter of 2013.
Even though another shipyard offered other grabs for a better price, the German shipping company decided for ORTS electro-hydraulic grabs.
Their reasons were the quality, the maintanance-friendly construction design and technical features, which other grab makers can not offer.
Also the average lifetime, speed and power of the ORTS grabs impressed the technical department of the shipping company.
