Ships Electronic Services (SES), one of the UK’s leading marine electronics supply and service companies, has achieved approvals in several categories of Bureau Veritas and Lloyds Register certification.
Already one of the few maritime electronics companies working within ISO:9000, the new certifications provide the company with further confirmation of the professional standards it provides.
SES managing director Stephen Roper said: "This is an important milestone in our 40 year history as these approvals are just the beginning of a number of certifications that SES will achieve over the coming months, which will allow us to work with some of the largest shipping and offshore operators in Europe.
"We pride ourselves in the high standards of working practices to which our engineers adhere and these certifications, from the world’s most respected authorities, confirm our professional standing in the maritime market."
SES has been awarded certification from Bureau Veritas to test, install and service Voyage Data Recorders, AIS and ship-borne GMDSS radio installations. The Lloyds Register certification includes radio communication equipment, AIS and EPRIBs.
