Fernstrum and Weka Boxcoolers will be exhibiting at SeaWork Southampton 2016 in cooperation with our UK representative Kort Propulsion. Seawork International is Europe’s largest commercial marine and workboat exhibition. Seawork is regarded as the industry’s one-stop-shop, providing buyers, legislators and influencers with direct access to the commercial marine and workboat market, its products, its innovations and its people, for three invaluable days every June. Since 1998 Seawork International has delivered a unique on-shore and on-water trade exhibition.
Nowadays, Seawork comprises an exhibition, conference and awards, attracting 7,500 industry professionals, 10,000 products and services, together with over 70 vessels. Seawork International will return 14-16 June 2016 at its new permanent home at the prestigious Mayflower Park in Southampton, UK. We have prepared a booth where we will be presenting some of our excellent cooling products.
We will present our latest cooling technology at booths P037 & P057 in the orange area of the Pacific Hall. Here you will be able to speak with our experts and find out more about our innovative solutions for your company.
We will showcase our full range of commercial marine cooling systems, which come with the latest technological developments focusing on the environment, the economy, and durability. Weka boxcoolers are fitted in all kinds of propulsion vessels.
The boxcoolers are available in a variety of sizes, and offer solutions for cooling and auxiliary purposes. The technology is built on the same basic principles as conventional coated boxcoolers, with the exception of an ICAF system. Each cooling element consists of copper nickel 90 / 10 tubes.
90 / 10 copper nickel is a 90% copper, 10% nickel alloy that also contains small additions of iron and manganese to enhance marine growth resistance and overall strength against corrosion. Combined with high ductility and toughness, this makes it a popular grade for marine applications.
WEKA has been manufacturing marine products since 1957. The core business is boxcoolers, which are used for inland waterways and sea-going vessels. Weka offers a range of materials for different applications, both economical and environmental.
SeaWork Southampton 2016 will take place from 14-16 June. Find us at booths P037 & P057 in the orange area of the Pacific Hall.
