The Russian Maritime Register of Shipping (RS) has issued the approval through 2018. The RS is focused on ensuring the safety of navigation, life at sea, security of ships, safe carriage of cargo, environmental safety of ships and prevention of pollution, and performance of authorisations issued by administrations and customers.
To ensure maritime safety, RS maintains a high standard in its quality management system and promotes and implements high technical standards in the design of ships, shipbuilding and the shipping industry. RS consistently develops and improves its rules and guidelines in compliance with the requirements of international standards to ensure safety at sea and pollution prevention.
