Low-weight aluminium marine glass doors and wall systems
SKANDI•BO OCEAN´s range of products are IMO-certified and include low-weight aluminium glass doors and wall systems that ensure an aesthetically attractive fire and sound-proof solution, for use in public spaces inside all types of cruise liners and ships. Light, open spaces are aesthetically pleasing, but on a cruise liner, lightweight construction and fire resistance are the dominant factors in design. Put simply, lower weight means better fuel economy and more passengers.
The fire glass we used is also classified as safety glass and in addition the walls and doors also have excellent soundproofing qualities.
Marine glass door and glass wall finishes
Our glass door and glass wall products can feature a wide range of decorations, special handles, and sandblasted glass, and frame finishings, such as RAL colors, anodized, brass gold, chrome and silver.
Prefabricated marine glass walls and doors
All of our structures are pre-fabricated to the highest degree of readiness in our factory, which allows prompt and easy installation by our local teams. We have a proven track record of a short delivery times for both ship new-build and vessel refurbishment projects.
