SeaQuest has been selected to supervise the construction of another very large gas carrier (VLGC) new building, enhancing its reputation as an experienced third party provider of shipbuilding project management and supervision services in the VLGC segment.
This is the fifth VLGC project awarded to SeaQuest in the last twelve months, this time by a leading European shipping company of oil, refined petroleum products and liquefied petroleum gas.
The 84,000m³ liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) carrier will be constructed by Hyundai Heavy Industries (HHI) in South Korea, with delivery scheduled for mid-2015.
