From 6 -9 September 2022, Hamburg will host a leading maritime international trade fair, SMM. With its 30th anniversary edition, the exhibition offers an excellent platform for the international maritime industry to share views and ideas, to discuss the latest projects, and to create new business connections in the times of the global shipping transition to zero-emission fuels of the future.
As a small family-owned business in Hamburg, Martechnic has always been an exhibitor at SMM. This year, the company will celebrate its 25th anniversary. The exhibition guests are cordially invited to visit Martecnic at the Hall A1, Stand 432. Taking into account the special theme of the SMM ‘Driving the Maritime Transition’, Martechnic will deliver a presentation on the Digital Transition Stage on 7 September at 10:45 focusing on explaining the importance of the powerful, but rather simple, mechanism of routine oil condition monitoring practices during the testing phase of the zero-emission fuels. It will demonstrate how Martechnic’s in-service oil testing equipment can assist in determining the effects of alternative fuels on overall dual-fuel engine performance and, in particular, on lubricating oil deterioration. Martechnic’s innovative, not-yet-available-on-the-market project will also be presented to the maritime industry.
