Profiseal is proud to announce that it has been appointed The Kemp Group as the Australian Distributor Sales and Service into Australasia.
The Kemp Group has been operating in Australia for more than 25 years in the marine design and build industry, bringing a wealth of experience and capability with offices in both Adelaide, Australia, and Nelson, New Zealand, with over 40 staff.
The Kemp Group through Kemp Propulsion can supply components for a complete propulsion package from the gearbox to the propeller.
General Manager Chris Field said he was very happy to be working alongside Profiseal now to introduce the brand to the market. With both German technology and manufacture, the seals are available in both imperial and metric sizes and have incredible short working lengths.
The introduction of their new Fire Proof Bulkhead Seal Series “Fire resistant A-60 Bulkhead seal” also has excellent potential for the Australian market.
The ProfiSeal Series fire resistant A-60 Bulkhead Seal is a sealing ring assembly consisting of two stainless-steel split housings with grooves in which split carbon sealing rings are fitted. The sealing ring assembly is fitted around the shaft, bolted to the class A-60 bulkhead and covered from both sides of the bulkhead with fire insulated split linings. Since its release, it has been used in more than 50 new vessels, including RoRo and RoPax ferries, cruise ships, oil spill response barges, LNG cargo vessel, police, custom and coast guards boots as well as in military applications.
