MarineShaft presently has a propeller blade repair underway for Danish shipyard Fayard A/S underway in its workshop.

This repair is for three spare, stainless steel blades for a ferry.  This repair includes the straightening and welding of the blade tips, and the machining of the blade feet. The classification society involved is Lloyd’s Register

MarineShaft offers the equipment and personnel necessary for repairing damaged propeller blades and fixed propellers.

We can rebuild damaged propeller blades in stainless steel or bronze and are able to balance the propellers statically with specially designed digital equipment. All of our repairs are carried out with approval from the classification societies in our workshop or on site.

At MarineShaft we value continuous education as it is important to keep up to date with all types of welding, whether that’s TIG, MIG, MAG, titanium or electrode. By doing so, we can solve all types of tasks for our customers. We also provide our service engineers with comprehensive training, which allows them to independently and safely travel around the world to carry out their work.

Our well-educated team of service engineers, propeller specialists and certified welders who are available at all times and can work alone or in teams. Many of our service engineers also possess an offshore certificate.

We also have a fully equipped container that is ready to be shipped out to service propeller repairs anywhere in the world.
