Our gear oils and stern tube oils, as well as our biodegradable hydraulic fluids for thrusters, controllable pitch propeller (CPP) propulsion units, stern tubes and deck equipment, are approved for use by leading equipment and seal system OEMs. These products now have independent assurance from the EU Ecolabel Program and meet the US EPA’s requirements for environmentally acceptable lubricant (EAL) classification.

Lubricants for open gears and steel cables
Klüber Lubrication recently introduced Klüberbio AG 39-602, an environmentally sound adhesive lubricant for open gears and steel cables. Based on ester oil and selected additives, this grease also complies with the requirements for EALs.
Klüber lubricants have been selected by leading OEMs as the recommended product to protect compressors, deck cranes, anchor winches, electric motors and pumps.
