Testing ballast water management systems (BWMS) for type approval requires preparation by manufacturers.

DHI can facilitate a scoping seminar, during which the manufacturer discusses the capabilities and challenges of the system with us, before entering into a contract for approval testing. During the scoping seminar we will:

Share historical data of the diverse types of organisms that occur in the natural waters used by our test facilities
Discuss the challenges our test waters pose to treatment by the BWMS
Discuss the possibilities for designing pilot tests
