Heinen & Hopman Engineering B.V. has been founded in 1965 as a family business between Mr Heinen and Mr Hopman.

Their main activity then was to carry out the installation and contracting work on board of ships. Mostly the work was carried out on Dutch shipyards and their main activities then were air conditioning, cooling, ventilation- and central heating installations.

Clearly within short time shipyards also invited the company to quote for complete packages in the specialised field. The company developed within short time their own products for marine application.
