US-based international cruise line Carnival Cruises has selected Brenock Technology as its software provider to offer flexible reporting and optimised operations.
The agreement will feature two of Brenock’s technology solutions which include its Integrated Management System (IMS) and the Crew acquisition Movement Expenses (CAMEX).
Richard Brearley, Vice President of Crew and Travel Operations with Carnival Cruise Line emphasised how this partnership will raise the team member experience.
Brearley said: “Our vision of leveraging technology and building a scalable model aligns with Brenock’s product. We’re thrilled to collaborate with Brenock to modernize critical backend operations so we can continue to elevate the Carnival Team Member experience”.
“With the fast-paced environment, having access to real-time solutions will help our crew operations streamline planning, reporting, and decision-making across Carnival.”
The IMS solution functions as a single platform solution, providing Carnival with a sole location to manage crew fees and expenses across various indicators.
CAMEX will provide Carnival with a simplified expense reporting system allowing the line to facilitate transactions from various currencies, handling conversions. Alongside this, CAMEX, monitors route transactions.
Manus Walsh, President and Founder of Brenock Technology, added: “We are proud to partner with a renowned cruise line such as Carnival to optimize its planning and cost management processes”.
“Our suite of tools will help Carnival remain flexible and incorporate new ways to scale its operations.”
Brenock Technology is well-reputed across the shipping industry with notable partnerships. This includes the signing of a five-year agreement with Virgin Voyages in June 2023, as its port cost management software provider.
