Norwegian classification society DNV GL has awarded the My Care Readiness Statement against Covid-19 to the FRS vessels sailing on the Strait of Gibraltar.
The statement includes the adoption of improved hygiene and safety protocols to reduce the risks of Covid-19 infection, along with any other pathogen.
With the certification, FRS can reassure the passengers and crews regarding the health and safety protection that is present on the sailing routes across the Strait.
My Care Readiness Statement was awarded to the Ceuta Jet ferry that operates on the Algeciras-Ceuta line for passengers and vehicles.
Kattegat, Tánger Express and Miramar Express, the vessels that serve the Algeciras-Tanger Med line for cargo transport, also received the statement.
The statement covers the measures implemented at offices, along with passenger boarding and transit areas.
