Royal Caribbean Cruises brand Celebrity Cruises has revealed the design of its terminal to be based at Port Everglades in Hollywood, Florida.
The proposed Terminal 25 (T25), designed by Port Everglades in partnership with architectural firm Bermello Ajamil and Partners, will be able to accommodate 1,150ft-long ships.
It will feature a number of technologies such as Frictionless Arrival, which will improve the check-in process and an interactive light wall art installation.
T25 will also provide its Suite Class guests an exclusive lounge, elevator lobbies, screening areas and a private rooftop terrace.
The terminal will also feature a 1,463ft² GKD Mediamesh to wrap its exterior, juxtaposing the more than 18,000ft² of outward facing glass, and Royal Caribbean Cruises’ first purpose-built crew lounge, which will have complimentary Wi-Fi connectivity, TV access, optimised storage, and quiet places for employees.
Expected to be completed by October, T25 will host many Celebrity ships, including Celebrity Edge, Celebrity Infinity, Celebrity Reflection, and Celebrity Silhouette.

By GlobalDataCelebrity Cruises president and CEO Lisa Lutoff-Perlo said: “When designing the revolutionary Celebrity Edge, we knew we wanted to design a terminal that perfectly complemented the ship and matched its one-of-a-kind experience.
“With cutting-edge technology, in service of a gorgeous design, T25 is that perfect new home.
“T25 also happens to be Celebrity’s first-ever brand-designed cruise terminal, which not only represents a milestone for Celebrity, but also presented us with the opportunity to set yet another standard in design and create the perfect guest experience.”
Port Everglades currently handles an average of around 335,000 Celebrity cruise guests annually.
Following the completion of T25, Celebrity is estimated to generate nearly 500,000 travellers at Port Everglades.
