By GlobalDataThis agreement follows the signing of a memorandum of understanding (MoU) between Al Seer Marine and AD Ports Group at the last Abu Dhabi International Boat Show in November 2022.
The MoU was based on cooperation in maritime-related developments which included the introduction of “state-of-the-art boats”.
Al Seer Marine added in the official Instagram post how “intelligent large-scale 3D printing production shall be integrated into further projects”.
Abu Dhabi Maritime, the AD Ports Group subsidiary, was established in May 2020 via an agreement between AD Ports Group and the Department of Municipalities and Transport. The group launched its online booking platform for public water transport in March 2023.
According to reports, the three-dimensional water taxi is set to be implemented into the water taxi platform by 2024.
