Australia-based digital maritime platform RightShip has announced a partnership with Brazil’s Porto de Santos, the largest port in South America, to implement its technology at the port’s terminals.
This agreement will give Port of Santos access to RightShip’s technologies, which include risk management solutions such as PortRisk. The platform’s technology is set to screen every inbound vessel against risk-based criteria.
According to RightShip, this platform will allow ports and terminals to navigate the challenges of pre-arrival preparations and enhance operational efficiency through “data-driven insights”.
Port of Santos CEO Anderson Pomini added: “At Porto de Santos, we strive for excellence and this partnership provides us with crucial data and insights to help us work towards a safer and more sustainable future in our port.”
As stated by RightShip, access to its PortRisk platform will allow for benefits such as consolidated data and insights, a collaborative network and risk coverage.
Alongside this, PortRisk is automated and available 24/7 with digital forms and questionnaires, ensuring efficient and organised communication.
