Carnival Jubilee is a new Excel-class cruise ship currently under construction at the Meyer Werft shipyard in Papenburg, Germany.
Operated by Carnival Cruise Line, Carnival Jubilee will be the cruise liner’s first ship built in Germany and its third liquefied natural gas (LNG)-powered ship.
The project also marks the first ship design transferred from Meyer Turku to Meyer Werft. The steel cutting and keel laying ceremonies for the new ship were held in March and July 2022, respectively.
Carnival Jubilee is a sister ship to Mardi Gras and Carnival Celebration. She is expected to be delivered by December 2023 and will set sail on her maiden voyage from Galveston, Texas, US, in the same month.
