South Korean shipping company Namsung Shipping has opted for CyberLogitec’s automated vessel stowage planning solution, OPUS Stowage Prime.
The deployment of the solution was completed in July.
The shipping company has used OPUS Stowage from CyberLogitec as its vessel loading planning system since 2012.
This tool is intended to optimise loading capacity and discharging turnaround times for container shipping firms.
The OPUS Stowage Prime solution, which is a next-generation automated engine, is designed to cope with complex constraints and a high loading planning workload.
It includes algorithms for automatically generating vessel loading plans based on criteria, including port call sequence, special cargo allocation, vessel stability, ballast optimisation and stacking rules.

In June, CyberLogitec received an order for a terminal operation system from Dongwon Global Terminal (DGT) Consortium and Dongwon Enterprise in South Korea.
