By GlobalData“Our new standard operating procedures to ensure passenger safety draws on our first-hand experience from the charter of two of our ships in Singapore to house foreign workers and cooperating with DNV GL, the world’s largest classification society, for Explorer Dream to receive the world’s first ‘Certification in Infection Prevention for the Marine industry (CIP-M)’.”
Explorer Dream has been thoroughly deep cleaned and strict quarantine procedures were observed for the crew.
The crew on the ship will be those who were quarantined for the previous three months and will also have to undergo a mandatory 14-day quarantine when they arrive at Keelung on 30 June.
After they test negative, they will have to undergo another seven-day quarantine.
Additionally, the ship will adhere to strict health screening processes and guidelines for embarkation and disembarkation.
Additionally, social distancing measures will also be implemented onboard.
The cruise ship operator has also implemented sanitisation and disinfection along with enhanced hygiene practices for guest cabins and other areas of the ship.
