Cargotec has received a €25m order to deliver MacGregor equipment for 11 container ships being built at South Korea’s Sungdong Shipbuilding & Marine Engineering shipyard.

The equipment, which includes hatch covers, lashing bridges and fixed lashing gear, will be delivered between mid-2012 and the end of 2013.
The order also includes an option for the delivery of MacGregor solutions for a further ten ships.
Hatch covers and lashing systems are an integral part of a container vessel’s cargo-handling ability.
